Chicago Venture Capital Competition (CVCC)

Booth C-01

CVCC is a great way to get an experience of what it's like to be a venture capitalist while you are in college. Teams of up to five students pose as venture capitalists and evaluate real companies as any VC would. Competition rounds are divided into due diligence, investor pitch, and a final negotiation round with the entrepreneur. The event will be judged by Chicago-based venture capitalists, and throughout the day you will have many opportunities to speak with them about their careers.

Don't be worried if you have no prior experience, all participants will go through training during the week of the event as preparation.

“The Chicago Venture Capital Competition was one of the most fun events I have participated in.”

— Team member of Woodlawn Capital, CVCC 2017
